LICENSING

Mary Bethune Academy, t/a Bethune Nursery School is a fully licensed child care program.  The license is issued and monitored by The Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services Licensing Division.

Division of Licensing Programs protects children and vulnerable adults in day and residential care settings. It operates from Home Office in Richmond, Virginia. Not all child care is regulated. Attaining and maintaining compliance with vital licensing standards and requirements are prerequisites for issuance and maintenance of a license or certificate to operate.

Bethune operates within all state guidelines for health, safety and programming for young children.
